A warm, editorial website for Katha Kavana, a neighbourhood specialty coffee shop and all-day café in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. Large serif typography, arched photography and a scroll-driven gallery of the space set the mood, while the menu, location and table reservations stay one click away.
The challenge
A café’s atmosphere is a big part of why people visit, but it is hard to convey through a listings page. The website needed to capture the feel of the space while still answering the practical questions quickly: what is on the menu, where it is, when it is open and how to reserve a table.
